Equity research and portfolio advisory for Nigerian and diaspora investors

We help you see what an investment actually returned — not just what the price chart shows.

CII Capital combines source-verified equity research with personal portfolio advisory, so decisions are grounded in what companies, exchanges and the market actually reported — in naira and in dollars.

Research-led
Every recommendation traces to a company filing, exchange record or central bank rate — not sentiment.
Naira & dollar view
We weigh performance in both currencies, so FX exposure is never a blind spot.
Personal advisory
Guidance sized to your portfolio and goals, not generic market commentary.

Who we are

Most commentary on Nigerian equities stops at the price chart. We think the real question for a long-term investor is simpler and harder: what did an investment actually become, once you count the bonus shares, the dividends paid along the way, and what that outcome is worth once the naira has moved.

CII Capital is built to answer that question — combining rigorous, source-verified research with advisory that translates the analysis into decisions for your own portfolio.

How we work

  • Sourced, not speculated
Every figure traces to a company filing, exchange record or central bank rate. Where a source is unreliable, we say so and flag the number as a proxy.
  • Bonus shares and dividends count
A share price chart alone understates most long-term Nigerian holdings. We track bonus issues and gross dividends separately, then combine them.
  • Both currencies, always
A naira return and a dollar return can tell different stories. We show both, using the exchange rate that applied at the time, not today's rate applied backward.
  • Assumptions shown, not hidden
Whole-share rounding, tax treatment, rights issues excluded — every simplification behind a number is stated plainly, not buried in a footnote.
